It's a new year with new opportunities and we are excited to let you in on the many things we are looking forward to in 2022! With the new year and new opportunities, we are not straying away from our long time mission and vision to raise up leaders among the vulnerable. Infact, we have stuck so closely to our mission for the past 17 years that now we are seeing exponential growth and opportunities as the vulnerable we have walked with for all these years are now grown and incredible leaders themselves!

This year we are rolling out our new integrative care program: Shine. There has been a wide open door for us to reach an extremely vulnerable population in Northern Uganda right near the Arise Center. We are able to provide clean water, medical care, food, and shelter/home repairs for hundreds of families who have a family member with disabilities. We see this ministry expanding to other vulnerable people, so we named this ministry Shine as we hope to be a bright light to the most destitute in East Africa.

Shine is our only "new" program, but this year you will see that we are implementing new names for our current programs to help streamline our work.

Our Student Discipleship/Family Mentoring program will now be called Thrive, as it is our heart that these young adults are launched into the world and thrive in whatever scenario they are faced with.

Our Discipleship Training which currently uses the Foundation of Hope curriculum and will be adding more curriculum as we expand, will now be called Alive, as it is our desire to see everyone ALIVE in Christ.
Our Arise Discipleship and Retreat center will keep the beautiful name Arise, but you will notice we will just be calling it The Arise Center. Our hope is that it will be used by God in tremendous ways.
