His Voice May News

These past few weeks have been a whirlwind of activity at His Voice. We have had short-term teams go to both Kenya and Uganda to join in the important work being done there among children, women, and students. The experience of actually seeing and being with the people we serve and work with makes a big difference. Very often, people come back from trips like these and say, “I get it!”.

Simultaneous with these trips, Darrell Parrish, our Director of Theological Training has been leading Pastors and others in Kenya, training them to present the Gospel of Jesus as a cohesive story of redemption and restoration. After spending time in Kenya, Darrell moved on to northern Uganda, where he joined His Voice missionary Jordan Ward and other workers to help disciple Muslims among a group previously unreached with God’s Word.  The work has been difficult, with many attacks from the enemy, including persecution of Muslims who have chosen to follow Jesus. But the hardship is worth it to hear these new believers say “I get it!”.

Recently, you should have received information in the mail regarding how you can help us meet the financial needs of our ministry. We have six active areas of need that are detailed in the mailers. We simply cannot meet these needs without your support. When you look back through your mail and find the envelope from His Voice, would you prayerfully consider how God would have you participate? Did you get it?

Gratefully,

From the Journal: Hello from Uganda!

"What gives us hope in this time is knowing the ways God has shown up each step of the way and the assurance that He called us to be here." Read the latest update from Jordan & Brittani Ward, our missionaries in Uganda.

Current Needs

We added a new section to our website that highlights primary ministry needs that are critical to the fulfillment of what God has called us to do this year. As you consider where God would have you direct your gift, visit this section of the site, share with friends and know that you are playing a vital role in the restoration of broken relationships with God, themselves, others, and creation. We could not continue our work without you!
