20 Year of Care!
As we continue to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our work with orphans and the vulnerable in South Sudan, so many memories come to mind! If you have been with us for some of our 20 years, you probably have stories of your own. We'd love to hear them!
While the memories and stories are great, it is most gratifying to know that the Circle of Care that you helped create really does work! By God's grace and hard work by a lot of people, we have seen those young orphans from 2005 mature into exceptional Christian leaders in their own right. When you consider the projection that by 2050 there will be more Christians in Africa than on any other continent, leaders like these seem to be destined to serve at "such a time as this"!
The need is great in South Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, and all of Africa and we are grateful that many of the original orphans in our care are still part of our ministry as they complete their college degrees or work towards receiving their technical school certificates. For 20 years, it's been our mission to redeem, restore, and renew individuals, families, and communities who have endured intense suffering and hopelessness. What a blessing to see these young leaders emerge! Watch this video to hear Co-Founder Dr. Vernon Burger share some memories.
Student Retreat!
We had a great two days earlier this month with our Thrive students at Murchison Falls National Park. Our Juba students were able to join us and it was so fun seeing them enjoying God's creation and experience the wildlife of Africa, most for the first time. It was a great way to start off the year together worshipping our Lord and encouraging each other through John 15- to abide in Him and in his love despite any circumstances in our lives and that when we abide in Him our lives can bear fruit.
20 years ago this month, His Voice Global had the great privilege of being brought into God's story for these student's lives. They were only children then, needing a home and an education in worn torn Sudan. It's a story only He could write. It's our own story as well, as He has so graciously allowed us to be a part of it all. It has been such a gift to see them grow up and live flourishing, God honoring lives. Beauty from ashes. At the retreat, we got to look back at old pictures and tell stories with grateful hearts and praise to God for interweaving our lives and for writing such an amazing story. So many of you reading this have been a part of this story as well. Your love and prayers and support have been there all these 20 years. We are beyond grateful to you for that.

Not only will you receive information on our ministry year and financial results, but you'll see lots of "then and now" pictures of our students. They have changed a bit from 2005 to 2025!
