A First Quarter Report - The Arise Center!
Last month Vernon and Amber told you about the three-year plan the Lord has given us as we build upon 20 years of ministry in East Africa. This month's newsletter begins with a report on part of that plan from Mike Elkins, our Uganda National Director.
As most of you know, our ministry work is carried out through four on-going programs called Arise, Shine, Thrive, and Alive. Now that the first quarter of 2025 is over (how did that happen!), we hope you are encouraged as Mike gives you a first-hand report on what is going on at The Arise Center in Arua, Uganda. Over 1000 people from 50 different mission groups have made reservations to use the Center so far this year! We are grateful to God that He is providing a place that is "Holy and Separated", as Mike says, from the unsettled world around us.

Cabin Fever!
As more and more people make reservations to come to The Arise Center, we realize the need to have a place for them to stay overnight. We are so grateful that your donations have made it possible to build two cabins that can sleep six people each! When larger groups use the facility, it is currently necessary to help find them off-campus lodging. Please continue to pray for the use of the Center and our ability to provide what is needed to accommodate those God sends us.
